Genesys Logic, the high-speed I/O communication leader in Taiwan, announced that a complete test report of product compatibility has been received for its USB High Speed OTG storage chip (produce code: GL824) that was tested by Allion Computer, officially stating that this product has passed the stringent test.

Allion Computer is an independent testing and certification organization for IT products that provides competitiveness testing and certification services for the research, design, and manufacturing and brand-name companies worldwide. As a member of the USB-IF Compliance Program that was officially authorized by USB-IF, Allion Computer has collaborated with the USB Implementer's Forum for many years and has already been officially certified as an organization that is capable of providing USB-IF testing services.

USB certification is one of the logo certification and testing projects that is under the management of Allion Computer; the testing environment provided by Allion Computer has provided Genesys with a convenient, efficient, and low-cost choice that ensures their products allow complete integration. The "real-world methodologies" and the standard tests provided by Allion Computer have become the global standard and "Quality Assurance" (QA) is also a part of the testing process. Genesys Logic's USB High Speed OTG storage chip is the first Hi-Speed USB 2.0 OTG Certified Chip in Taiwan. In order to respond to clients' demands for high-compatibility of USB devices in OTG products, Genesys Logic requested Allion Computer to conduct a stringent test for this product's functionality and compatibility with existing digital cameras, digital camcorders, flash drives, MP3 players, and external hard drives.
